What is needed for configuration

  1. Sensor to be configured.
  2. Tablet you want sensor to be configured to
  3. The system number and data tag of the XTMS unit being replaced.
  4. 2 x AA Batteries
  5. Pre-Attached XTMS replacement sensor label

How to configure

  1. Open T24 Toolkit on the tablet that you want to configure the sensor to

      1. Press windows start button
      2. Search/ locate folder T24 Toolkit
        toolkit location
      3. Open T24 Toolkit

  2. Remove the Lid of the transmitter.
      1. Make sure no batteries are fitted.
      2. Press “Pair” you then have 10 seconds to insert both batteries to enter pairing mode it should then connect to the T24 Toolkit

  3. Select “advanced settings”

      1. configure the data tag to the same as the sensor being replaced

        These numbers can also be found on the top label on the transmitter case as shown above or the side of the sensor or transmitter under SYS:

        Example: SYS: 13299B061B where 13299B is the system number and 061B is the sensor number and type.
        If you are configuring a sensor replacing 061B roller tip sensor the “Data Tag” field below will need to be changed to “061B” or if you are configuring a sensor replacing 032A pressure transducer the “Data Tag” field below will need to be changed to “032A”

  4. Then select “Radio Settings”

    1. Set the Group key to the system number.

    System numbers can be found on top of the XTMS Tablet Case, on the back of the XTMS tablet or printed on the sensor transmitter under the SYS: number.

    Example: SYS: 13299B061B where 13299B is the system number and 061B is the sensor number and type.

    Ensure that channel 15 is kept as its radio channel

  5. Fill in the system number and data tag fields. On the Label on the replacement Transmitter using a Marker Pen.

  6. The sensor can now be used in the desired kit.

 

Trouble Shooting

Transmitter not pairing?

Try remove group from Base Station

  1. Open T24 Toolkit
  2. Press and hold shift on keyboard then press “pair” to open base station interface
  3. Click on “Radio Settings” menu and remove the group key
  4. Click on “home” menu then try to connect to the module

Manual connect to transmitter

  1. Open T24 Toolkit
  2. Under pair button click on “Click Here” then click “Connect”
  3. Open the transmitter put in 2 x AA batteries
  4. Under  the antenna PCB where the sensor is wired into the transmitter there is a yellow sticker with a transmitter ID EG. “ID: FDD42B”
  5. Enter the transmitter ID into the displayed field on T24 toolkit then press “OK”
  6. The transmitter should now be connected
