When you are experiencing low strength signals from a load cell, a load cell amplifier (you may have also heard these called a ‘signal conditioner’, ‘transmitter’ or ‘strain gauge’ amplifier), is a great way to increase the strength of the signal by increasing the output voltage to a more measurable range, before it is used by displays or control systems.
