Applied Measurement Australia Pty Ltd. announces that it distributes the VEHICO robots product range for vehicle testing, precise and reproducible tests, driver-less testing using GPS. VEHICO specializes in manufacturing driving robots and vehicle dynamics control systems for vehicle testing.
VEHICOs product range includes off the shelf or custom driving robot solutions as well as implementation of highly complex test maneuvers with driving robots in one or more vehicles. These systems are “state of the art” providing extremely accurate and reliable results.
The CO. ACT range consists of driving robots for vehicle testing such as steering, gas, brake, clutch and gearshift. All the robots within this range can be operated standalone or in combination. Each robot comes with multiple control modes so that you can switch between the control models within a test run to cover the specific test requirements. The products within this range include:
The CO. REMOTE system consists of a driving robot and remote control. This system allows for remote control signals sent from outside the vehicle to be transmitted to the driving robot in the form of steering or pedal movements. This enables unmanned vehicle testing.
CO. REMOTE FEATURES:
This system is a closed-loop “real time” control that allows the vehicle to track the exact xy-coordinates on the road (including high dynamic driving maneuvers) by calculating the required steering wheel angle based on the relative position of the vehicle.
CO. TRACK FEATURES:
This system allows for the automatic driving by enabling the vehicle to follow the exact xy-coordinates on the road with precise velocity (including high dynamic driving maneuvers). Additionally, this system allows for “real time” steering wheel angle and pedal operations calculations. CO. DRIVE provides easy tracking and velocity profiling so that manual driving and high-precision replays can be performed.
CO. DRIVE FEATURES:
This systems synchronizes two or more test vehicles for autonomous driving. CO. SYNC transmits the data of one vehicle to the other wirelessly using a special synchronization module. This module then generates the dynamic reference values based on the previously specified test constellations which are transferred between the vehicles. Despite to possible disturbances, an optimal synchronization between the vehicles is guaranteed.
